Therapy

I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and couples. I work with my clients to treat depression, anxiety and trauma. I also work with clients to process issues related to divorce, parenting, relationship concerns, life changes and the challenges that come with having a family member in the military or law enforcement. I mainly utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy in my work.

My experience treating PTSD includes working in a partial hospitalization program and being certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I believe that it is important that my clients feel I am a good fit for them both in my treatment approach and in personality, that is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation before starting therapy.

I currently see clients virtually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and in person on Wednesdays.

Cost

  • Intake Appointment $165

  • 50-Minute Individual Session $150

  • 50-Minute Couple/Family Session $165

  • Specialty 90-Minute Session $215

  • Premarital Package (8, 90-Minute Sessions) $1,500

I have chosen not to work with insurance companies so that I can better protect the confidentiality of my clients. Insurance companies require that therapists share information like a client’s diagnosis and general progress notes. They can also impose restrictions on how long sessions can last. For those reasons I have decided that it is best for my clients and for the therapeutic process that insurance is not involved. I will provide a superbill upon request for those seeking reimbursement from their insurance.
